Learn About Computer Science This Summer!
The Sacramento County Office of Education and county offices of education from across California, as well member organizations of the CSforCA coalition, are proud to announce the fourth annual Summer of CS!
During the week of June 13-17, you are invited to participate in no-cost* Computer Science (CS) professional learning experiences with other K-12 teachers, counselors, and administrators in California.
The Summer of CS experience begins with the statewide Virtual Kick-Off Event on Thursday, June 6, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM PT. This annual event features inspiring keynote addresses, an update about the "State of CS in CA", and a K-12 student showcase that highlights the impacts of CS education.
Registration for the Virtual Kick-Off Event and Computer Science Workshops will be available on Monday, December 6, 2021.

Building California's K-12 CS Pathways
California teachers, counselors and administrators are invited to join in a one-day professional learning opportunity to celebrate equity-minded computer science (CS) education. Bring a team and expand the vision for CS education in your class, school, district or county!
During the Summer of CS Virtual Kick-Off event, you will have opportunities to learn from and with other teachers, counselors, and administrators that are implementing the California K-12 Computer Science Standards.
Additionally, you will hear from students, high-profile keynote speakers, experts in the field, and teacher leaders from across California in dynamic and engaging virtual sessions.
